Cindy Lou Who tells you what you should do...

This is a writing contest. You have no limits for length - but make it long enough to really enjoy - and you may use any format you wish;  prose, verse, etc. You are welcome to use illustrations, as well, as long as no one is going to come looking for me over copyright nonsense, lol. You do not need to include a word count.

Post your name and home site in the Comments on the main game page (how you got here) if you wish to be a participant so your info can be added.

Your story needs to include at least one or more of the elements mentioned in the poem on the game page, and should have at least one character based on your home site.

When you are ready, message me (links to PM for each site are posted in Reaching the Grinch, upper right on the main game page) a URL for your story. I recommend using a free blog - BlogSpot for Googlers, WordPress for others - for this, as it's completely under your control and won't have a trail of comments as it might if you use your site Forums, but the choice is yours. All I need is a way to link it as an individual item (NOT a whole Forum thread) in the StoryBook tab for reading and judging.

Stories can be submitted up until midnight Christmas eve - you can continue to edit, if you like, but no new posts submitted after that will go up for judging.

This will be participant (and friends)-judged, starting at noon on Christmas day and running through midnight January 5, 2014. Votes must include story title and be posted in the Comments section on the main game page - I will be clearing the Comments there Christmas morning so they will be ready.

Votes will be tabulated January 6, 2014, winners announced on the game page, and prizes sent out - I will contact the winners on their sites and work out exactly what and how...but they WILL be very nice!
